Passenger（乘客樂團）原本是邁克爾·大衛·羅森博格（Michael David Rosenberg）於16歲時（2003年）在澳洲成立的樂團，該團在澳洲僅發行過一張專輯後於2009年解散，羅森博格保留了Passenger（吟遊詩人）的樂團藝名，並在街頭賣藝演出。
羅森博格出生在英國英格蘭布萊頓-霍夫，但移居至澳洲長大。羅森博格自小便學習古典吉他，14歲時開始創作音樂，15歲時在英國劍橋結識創作歌手紅髮艾德（Ed Sheeran）。Passenger的音樂風格屬於民謠搖滾，擁有非常獨特的聲線。

羅森博格在2011年完成第二張專輯《烏鴉的飛行》，結識許多澳大利亞的獨立歌手，同時也創作了《Let Her Go》這首歌曲。2012年2月Passenger發行第三張專輯《所有的小小心燈》（All the Little Lights），並數次受邀擔任Ed Sheeran演唱會的開場嘉賓，迅速累積人氣。

《Let Her Go》在2013年開始攻佔澳洲、紐西蘭、以色列、德國、瑞典、芬蘭、丹麥、奧地利、比利時、義大利、捷克等歐陸國家音樂流行榜冠軍，亦拿下英國流行榜亞軍，2013年11月《所有的小小心燈》開始在北美發行，《Let Her Go》拿下加拿大流行榜冠軍及美國告示牌流行榜第五名。
《Let Her Go》曾被提名為2014年全英音樂獎年度歌曲，這是一首緬懷失去戀情的療傷歌曲。
