邦喬飛（Bon Jovi）是來自美國新澤西賽瑞維爾市的硬搖滾樂團，由主唱瓊·邦喬飛（Jon Bon Jovi）於1983年創立，成員有吉他手Richie Sambora，鍵盤手David Bryan，貝斯手Alec John Such，和鼓手Tico Torres。邦喬飛樂團在1980年代紅遍全球，邦喬飛至今已在全世界賣出了1.2億張唱片。
邦喬飛的成名歌曲為1986年的《You Give Love a Bad Name》和《Livin' on a Prayer》，1988年《Lay Your Hands on Me》、《Bad Medicine》、《I'll Be There for You》等暢銷曲並將邦喬飛推上第一次歌唱高峰。1994年邦喬飛推出精選輯及搖滾抒情歌曲"Always" ，邦喬飛第二次創造歌唱高峰。然後，主唱瓊·邦喬飛開始擴張其演藝事業，並參與電視劇及電影的客串演出，樂團反而無推出新的代表歌曲。
《It's My Life》是邦喬飛樂團(Bon Jovi)在2000年推出的搖滾歌曲，也這是邦喬飛回歸硬搖滾的重要作品。由於當時的流行音樂環境丕變，《It's My Life》在美國告示牌流行榜只得到33名，也顯示搖滾樂在流行音樂走下坡。不過，《It's My Life》卻在歐洲暢銷大賣，這和當年Nokia手機廣告歌曲選用《It's My Life》脫不了關係，當年只要聽到《It's My Life》，馬上聯想到Nokia手機和"科技始終來自於人性"這句廣告詞。

蕭敬騰在2009年台北跨年晚會演唱《It's My Life》，雖然唱腔Power很夠，不過由於蕭敬騰的英文受限，咬字含糊是其不足。老蕭在2008年至2010年很長演唱《It's My Life》，該歌曲也成為蕭敬騰的招牌曲之一。

邦喬飛在《It's My Life》歌詞用典兩次：(1)關於副歌歌詞中的"I did it my way"，早在1969年法蘭克辛那屈最著名的歌曲《My Way》，就有"I did it my way"這句歌詞。(2)關於第二段歌詞中的"Tommy and Gina"，出自邦喬飛的代表歌曲"Livin' on a Prayer"。
在2007年之後，邦喬飛演唱《It's My Life》時明顯變得較為抒情斯文，已經沒有2000年時的搖滾狂野態勢，這是難擋歲月催老。2009年4月邦喬飛推出紀錄片《當我們風華正茂》（When We Were Beautiful）。
